Workshop on financial education for women in the workforce

On March 19, AAB organized the workshop “Financial Education for Women in the Workforce: Money Management and Access to Banking Services”, an initiative aimed at empowering women through financial literacy. The event was held in collaboration with the HAKO company, creating a platform for discussions on personal finance management and leveraging opportunities in the banking sector.

The workshop was opened by Mr. Spiro Brumbulli, AAB Secretary General, and Ms. Antonela Hako, CEO of HAKO and Chairwoman of the Women’s Economic Chamber. They emphasized the importance of financial education as a tool for economic independence and professional development for women. Representatives from ProCredit Bank, Erinda Ropi and Nertila Lamçe, provided an extensive overview of banking products and services, ncluding financing and credit opportunities for individuals and businesses, as well as options for savings and banking investments.

Discousions focused on security in digital banking platforms, highlighting fraud prevention, protection against online scams, and measures to safeguard personal and financial data. Participants also discussed alternative savings management options, including private pension insurance schemes and investments in securities.

The interactive atmosphere of the workshop allowed participants to share their experiences and gain practical advice on managing personal finances, making this event a concrete step toward a more secure and informed approach to banking services.
