Annual event with economic journalists
On June 23-24, 2023, AAB held its annual gathering with economic journalists to discuss key topics related to the banking industry. The event focused on the impact of fluctuating interest rates on commercial banks, recent bankruptcies in the U.S., and the general outlook for the Albanian banking sector. Mr. Andi Habilaj, Manager of the Department of Market Risk at BKT, led the discussions and responded to audience questions.
Additionally, AAB’s Secretary General, Mr. Spiro Brumbulli, briefed journalists on AAB’s ongoing initiatives and shared details on the organization’s priorities and activities, highlighting the issues of public interest. The event offered a combination of educational content and cultural experiences, with a visit to Valbona Valley National Park and the Monumental Complex of the Albanian League of Prizren.
