AAB participates in the joint meeting with representatives of associations of exporting businesses
On May 11, 2023, the Chairman of the Albanian Association of Banks, Mr. Bledar Shella, participated in the joint meeting with the Minister of Finance and Economy, Mrs. Delina Ibrahimaj, the Governor of the Bank of Albania, Mr. Gent Sejko, as well as with representatives of associations of exporting businesses, where concerns raised by exporting businesses regarding the strengthening of the exchange rate of the lek against the euro currency were discussed.
In the meeting, it was agreed to set up a technical working group with the aim of further analyzing the situation, making joint predictions about the impact that a further devaluation of the euro would have on exporting companies.
