AAB award winners of the “Stock market learning competition”
On February 13, 2025, the Albanian Association of Banks (AAB), in collaboration with the Bank of Albania and German Sparkassenstiftung Albania, organized the Award Ceremony for the “Stock Market Learning Competition”, an initiative aimed at enhancing financial education and improving the skills of banking sector employees.
This year, 75 employees from 11 banks participated in the challenging stock market game, managing a simulated investment portfolio over three months. By applying real market strategies, participants had the opportunity to test their skills and gain a deeper understanding of investments and financial market dynamics.
During the ceremony, Ms. Luljeta Minxhozi, First Deputy Governor of the Bank of Albania, Ms. Anja Deinzer, Director of German Sparkassenstiftung Albania, and Mr. Spiro Brumbulli, Secretary General of AAB, highlighted this initiative as an excellent opportunity to better prepare banking professionals, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand financial markets and make more informed decisions in the future.
At the conclusion of the competition, the winning teams were announced:
- First Place – Procredit Bank Albania
- Second Place – UBA Bank Albania
- Third Place – OTP Bank Albania
