AAB and KBA strengthen cooperation

The Albanian Association of Banks (AAB) and the Kosovo Banking Association (KBA) held a meeting on April 15, focusing on strengthening cooperation between the two associations and addressing the common challenges posed by the evolving landscape of the banking sector.
Beyond the routine exchange of experiences, the meeting served as a strategic platform for sharing long-term visions, analyzing market trends, and identifying concrete opportunities where cooperation can generate added value. Mr. Spiro Brumbulli, Secretary General of AAB, provided a detailed overview of the Albanian banking sector, highlighting the importance of aligning with EU accession standards and the need to further reinforce financial stability.
Meanwhile, Mr. Petrit Balija, Executive Director of KBA, emphasized the commitment of Kosovo’s banking sector to sharing best practices and building lasting bridges of cooperation, with the aim of contributing to sustainable economic development in both countries.
