AAB and Fibank Albania organize the workshop “Open Banking from Regulation to Revenue – Unlocking the Future of Financial Innovation”
In Europe, Open Banking has evolved from a regulatory requirement into a powerful enabler of innovation and growth. This transformation is also accelerating across Southeastern Europe, with Albania taking decisive steps toward its development.
In this context, on November 12, 2025, AAB, in collaboration with Fibank Albania, organized the workshop “Open Banking from Regulation to Revenue – Unlocking the Future of Financial Innovation” where IRIS Solutions shared insights and experiences on how regulation and compliance can be transformed into a competitive advantage, as well as how Open Banking can create new value for customers, businesses, and the economy as a whole.
The workshop was attended by representatives from 11 commercial banks engaged in digitalization, as well as representatives from the Bank of Albania and institutions of electronic money and payment services (EMIs).
