The Saving Game: Students develop their financial skills through play

Saving is about more than simply setting money aside. It involves knowing how to make choices, plan ahead, set priorities, and think about the future.
Around 30 students from Polis University and the University of New York Tirana took part in the Saving Game, an interactive activity designed to strengthen their knowledge and skills in money management, budgeting, and making informed financial decisions.
Through challenges and simulated real-life scenarios, students had the opportunity to put financial planning into practice, explore different saving approaches and strategies, and understand how everyday financial decisions can contribute, over time, to building a more secure financial future.
The activity took place on October 29 – 30, ahead of International Savings Day, and was organized by the Albanian Association of Banks (AAB) in cooperation with Sparkassenstiftung for International Cooperation, as part of ongoing initiatives to promote financial literacy among young people.
