Meeting of the AAB Assembly of Members on December 16, 2025
The Assembly of Members of AAB held its meeting on December 16, 2025, during which the Association’s activities for 2025 were reviewed, analyzing achievements in line with the Business Plan and the implementation of the Financial Plan. The year 2025 was assessed as a successful year in executing the Association’s main strategy, focused on digitalization and increasing visibility. The members approved the Annual Report on the activities of the Albanian Association of Banks for 2025.
Members were also presented with the Business Plan and Budget for 2026, prepared by the Executive Office in cooperation with the Technical Committees. The main strategy for 2026 will focus on digitalization and strengthening public communication. The Business Plan and Budget for 2026 were unanimously approved by the Assembly.
The Assembly of Members also approved several amendments to the AAB Statute related to the procedures for electing members of the Supervisory Board.
In conclusion, the Assembly elected a new member to the AAB Supervisory Board. Mr. Christian Canacaris was unanimously elected as the new member of the Supervisory Board.
