The International Economics Olympiad Begins in Albania!
📍 On April 24, the official opening ceremony of the International Economics Olympiad (IEO) was held at the Metropolitan Innovation Center – an international platform that gives young people the opportunity to showcase their talent and knowledge in economics, finance, and critical thinking through a global competition.
The Albanian Association of Banks (AAB) is proud to support this initiative, which empowers youth and promotes the professional development of future generations in the banking sector and beyond.
🗣 In his welcoming speech, Mr. Spiro Brumbulli, Secretary General of AAB, emphasized:
“The banking sector needs the energy, creativity, and professional preparation of young people. This Olympiad is a window for identifying and encouraging these talents who will become the economic leaders of tomorrow. AAB will continue to support initiatives that connect education with the labor market.”
🎓 The event was also attended by academics and representatives from the financial sector, including the Metropolitan University and partners of the Olympiad.
