Open lecture at Epoka University focused on digitalization
On 24 March, the Albanian Association of Banks organized an open lecture with around 90 students from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Epoka University.
The lecture featured Ms. Elona Labinoti, Chief Operational Officer at Fibank and member of the Albanian Association of Banks’ Advisory Committee on Payments, Cards, Digitalization, and Alternative Channels, who presented to the students on the evolution of payment systems.
During the lecture, the transformation of payments from traditional formats to modern digital solutions was addressed, including developments such as open banking and SEPA, as well as expectations for the future in an increasingly digitalized ecosystem.
This lecture contributed to raising students’ awareness of the importance of informed and responsible use of financial services, helping them better understand their role as future clients in a continuously evolving digital banking system.
