The Albanian Association of Banks (AAB) elects the new chairman of the Supervisory Board

On March 7, 2023, the AAB Supervisory Board organized a discussion meeting with members of the Human Resources Committee. Participants had the opportunity to discuss the challenges faced by the sector and exchanged ideas to maximize human resource efficiency and increase new capacities, as a necessity in the current situation.
During the discussion, representatives of the banks shared their concerns regarding the further impact on the sector of social-economic phenomena facing Albanian society, such as the emigration of human capital, the excellent students who are leaving the country, the education system, etc. Furthermore, the development of technology has brought new challenges to the human resources sector. And in the face of these changes, the need arises for banks to adapt and show more flexibility.
Participants also discussed training, as one of the main pillars of the AAB’s activity, addressing issues and exchanging ideas on cooperation among members in order to ensure efficient and quality training for bank staff.
