“Saving Game”: Students Develop Practical Financial Skills

The Albanian Association of Banks (AAB), in partnership with German Sparkassenstiftung Albania, organized “Saving Game – Loja e Kursimeve” to mark International Savings Day. The two-day event, held on October 30–31, brought together students from Polis University and New York University Tirana.
Through this interactive simulation, students had the opportunity to learn and practice effective personal finance management by navigating various economic scenarios and making financial decisions in a dynamic environment.
Divided into groups, participants assumed different roles and faced real-life challenges, including budgeting, saving, investing, and debt management.
The goal of “Saving Game” is to enhance students’ financial knowledge and skills, encouraging them to make responsible decisions for their economic future. This innovative approach to financial education helps young people develop practical money management skills, making the learning process both engaging and interactive.
The collaborative atmosphere and discussions during the game provided a valuable and rewarding experience for all participants.
