Mr. Pedrazzi took office as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Albania on 1st October 2013. Mr. Pedrazzi was previously the Head of Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) & South Mediterranean Area Department of Intesa Sanpaolo, in charge to coordinate the Subsidiaries located in the Russian Federation, Ukraine and Egypt. He started his career in the banking sector in 1978 working in different Italian savings banks and he joined Intesa Sanpaolo Group in 2000. In Italy, he held the duty of General Manager of Cassa di Risparmio di Spoleto and of Cassa di Risparmio di Ascoli Piceno. In 2006 he was appointed First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Banca Intesa Beograd (Serbia) and in 2008 as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Pravex-Bank (Ukraine).

Apart from working for Intesa Sanpaolo Group, he is actively involved in the following key associations:

CEO of Credins Bank


Maltin Korkuti was appointed CEO of Credins Bank on July 17, 2014. Prior to this position he was Deputy CEO of Credins Bank and Board member since the establishment of Credins Bank on 31 March 2003.

Mr. Korkuti has a 20-year experience in the financial, insurance and banking sectors, with deep knowledge and understanding on operations and risk management, as well as treasury activities. He has played a key role in implementing the Bank’s structures, and he has been instrumental in the successful start-up operations of many financial institutions in the field of insurance, leasing, investment, brokerage and stock exchange. His career in the banking sector, includes management positions first at the Savings Bank, at the Financial Institute “Credins” and at Credins Bank.

Mr. Korkuti holds the title “Magister rerum socialium oeconomicarumque” from the University of Vienna, Faculty of Economics, Department of International Business Administration in 1999, and the title Doctor from the University of Tirana, Finance Accounting Division, in 2004.

Mr. Korkuti, beyond his mother tongue Albanian, communicates fluently in English and German, and has good knowledge in Italian language.


CEO of American Bank of Investments


Mr.Ballta has a long experience in the banking sector in the USA and Europe. Since 2008, Mr. Ballta is a Managing Director at NCH Capital, a private equity firm based in New York.
At NCH Capital, he was responsible for investment opportunities in Albania, Bosnia, Croatia, Macedonia, Greece, Kosovo, and Montenegro. During this time he led the acquisitions of and managed a regional portfolio of prime shorefront land for tourist development in Greece and the Western Balkans. In July 2014, his primary-focus shifted to the management and growth of NCH’s regional debt purchase, collection, and financing company, Tranzit Finance. In 2015, after the purchase of Credit Agricole Albania from Tranzit, Mr. Ballta became CEO of the newly formed American Bank of Investments. Prior to joining NCH, Mr. Ballta worked for seven years with Israel Discount Bank in New York and Miami as Senior Vice President-Head of Sponsored and Syndicated Financing. In this role, he managed a buy side team for high-yield loans, sourcing business, structuring, evaluating credit and trading in both the primary and secondary market. During the mid-1990s in Albania, Mr. Ballta assisted small and medium-sized enterprises in the privatization process and
in facilitating direct investment in the country. Mr. Ballta received a bachelor degree in Business Administration from the State University of Tirana and a MBA from St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida.


CEO of Alpha Bank Albania


Mr. Georgios Papanastasiou has worked for over three decades in the banking sector in the SEE region, namely Greece, North Macedonia, Serbia and Albania. His career started at The Bank of Nova Scotia in Thessaloniki, Canada’s International Bank and a leading financial services provider in North, Central and Latin America and Asia-Pacific. In 1991, he joined ABN Amro Bank NV, the largest bank in the Netherlands and among the biggest in Europe, where he served as Area Commercial Manager for North Greece. Mr. Papanastasiou in September 2000 joined Stopanska Banka AD, Skopje, member of NBG Group where after five years as Corporate Advisor and Credit manager, he was appointed General Manager B’ in July 2005.

From 2011 to April ’17 he was also elected Board member and President of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Business Association in Serbia.

In January 2009 he joined Alpha bank Group and in April 2009 he was appointed President of the Executive Board of Alpha Bank Serbia AD until April 2017 when he was seconded to Alpha Bank Albania to be appointed as bank’s Chief Executive Officer on the 20th of December 2017.

From July, 6 2018 Mr. Papanastasiou holds the position of the President of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Business Association in Albania.
Mr. Papanastasiou holds a BSc degree in Economics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a MBA degree from Bentley College, Massachusetts, USA.


CEO of Tirana Bank


Mr. Mustafa joined Tirana Bank on December 2014 as Deputy Managing Director and was appointed as Acting CEO on January 2015, taking over the responsibility of the Chairman of the Executive Committee, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tirana Bank and member of the Board of Directors of Tirana Leasing. As of November 2016, Mr. Mustafa is assigned the duty of Chief Executive Officer of Tirana Bank. He has a banking experience since 1995 working in banks like BKT, NBG and Credit Agricole, mostly on managerial positions, including the position of Deputy General Director since 2004. Mr. Mustafa is a graduate from the University of Tirana in Business Administration and holds an MBA degree from International Hellenic University, Thessaloniki.
