The Albanian Association of Banks participated in the conference “Challenges of cyber security in Albania”, organized by AKCESK, which took place on February 7, 2023.
During the proceedings of the conference, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the National Authority for Electronic Certification and Cyber Security (AKCESK) and the Albanian Association of Banks (AAB), which defines the cooperation of both parties in dealing with cyber incidents, experiences in the field of security, training, and cooperation in research and development.
The agreement was signed by the AAB Chairman, Mr. Bledar Shella, and the General Director of AKCESK and National Coordinator for Cyber Security, Mr. Igli Tafa.
Mr. Tafa thanked AAB for its expertise and highlighted the importance of cooperation with the financial sector. On his part, Mr. Shella expressed his appreciation for this cooperation and emphasized the importance of its continuation even further.
