National final of the Money Quiz 2023 organized

On December 14, 2022, the meeting of the Assembly of Members of the Albanian Association of Banks (AAB) was held, during which the Association’s activities during 2022 were evaluated and the business plan and budget for 2023 were discussed and approved.
At the end of the meeting, members, together with representatives of member banks and chairpersons of AAB’s technical committees, participated in the End-of-the-Year Meeting – the traditional closing reception of the year, organized by AAB. Guests of honor were the Governor, Mr. Gent Sejko, and other representatives of the Bank of Albania, as well as the General Director of the Albanian Deposit Insurance Agency, Mr. Genci Mamani.
The Chairman of AAB and CEO of OTP Bank Albania, Mr. Bledar Shella, in the welcome speech held on this occasion, brought to the attention of the participants the initiatives and projects that AAB has been involved in during 2022, emphasizing the realization of two priorities related to digitization and visibility of AAB. Despite the challenges to their realization, AAB has always been in the defense and promotion of the interests and values of the banking industry.
Also, Mr. Shella welcomed the new member of the Assembly, the CEO of the United Bank of Albania, Mr. Orfea Dhuçi.
Furthermore, a greeting speech was held by Mr. Gent Sejko, who welcomed the positive role that the banking industry has had during 2022, maintaining a positive approach to lending to the private sector and taking the necessary measures to manage the risks added to the financial statement.
The dinner continued in a festive atmosphere.
