AAB participates in Rin Camp 2023

On May 11, 2023, the Chairman of the Albanian Association of Banks (AAB), Mr. Bledar Shella, participated in the joint meeting with the Minister of Finance and Economy, Mrs. Delina Ibrahimaj, the Governor of the Bank of Albania, Mr. Gent Sejko, as well as representatives of business associations of exporters. The concerns raised by exporting companies regarding the strengthening of the exchange rate of lek against the euro currency were discussed.
The meeting agreed to establish a technical working group in order to further analyze the situation and to carry out mutual forecasts on the impact that a further devaluation of the euro would have on exporting companies.
